Boy Goes To Medical School
Some 16 year old boy in Wheeling, WV or Carbondale, IL or someplace got accepted to some medical school somewhere. The boys parents are very excited and anxious for their son to finish the 5 or 6 years of college and the 3 or 4 or 5 years of residency or internship or whatever, so he can start earning the $500,000 or $750,000 or some amount that all of the doctors make in America. The father of the boy, who has had an extremely unproductive and meaningless yet well-paying career himself, waxed philosophical at a dinner party, in which he professed "...I will tell you, even the worst doctor will make more money than the best engineer! Chettiar Gathering a Success
The Pulliyar Chettiar or Chettiar Numbu or Pillayar Numbo or something, in which a large number of Pillayers or Chettiars or something convened to do some things that appeal to Chettiars, was a success, according to some Pillayers or Chettiars who were there. The numbo is a yearly event that commemorates some chettiars who wore a vaysti and then took some of the string on some boat out at sea or something. To honor those vaysti string taking chettiars, the numbo attendees eat some sweet, raw doughy ball that sticks to the teeth and gums. The ball is served with some vaysti that's on fire.

Among the other activities at the gathering were speeches by Chettiars on the importance of maintaining the Chettiar whatchamacallit, and also speeches by others who repeatedly reminded the audience, "even the worst doctor will make more money than the best engineer! It is true!" (AUDIO) <>FULL STORY

Indians Declare Indian Schools Far Superior To American Schools
According to a group of Indian men at a dinner party at some Indian family's house in Overland Park, KS or in Garland, TX or someplace, the Indian school system is far superior to that of the American system. As one of the well-educated gentlemen at the party put it, "..these American schools are bullshit. They are teaching music and arts and cooking and this kind of bullshit. The children are not learning calculus or physics. That is why they don't know nothing. In our Indian schools, the children are learning maths and science from the beginning." (AUDIO) <>FULL STORY

A 17 year old American-born boy who is currently in his freshman year at Tufts University has decided to major in Literature. Following the tragedy, the boys father immediately flew to India to seek spiritual healing or something from 21 priests, who will all sit cross-legged for 3 hours while the father dips some big leaf in a jar of someone's fluid or something and lets it drip here and there, and then hands each priest a big bunch of leaves and some rice.

According to tradition, the ritual will cause a spell to be cast on the son. The spell will drive the boy to immediately seek out his academic advisor and initiate the paperwork required to enroll in the pre-med program.(AUDIO) <>FULL STORY
